PRIMITIVE CAMPSITES – Sites are approximately 15′ x 20′ and may have multiple sleeping units, but you must stay within the marked boundaries. Your vehicle must fit on the site or you will need to purchase Campsite Overflow Parking for $20. Electricity, water and tables are not provided. Saturday Campsites are located in Mission Field only.
GROUP PRIMITIVE CAMPSITES – Group Camping is now available in Back 40 and Shady Acres (formerly Q-Ville). Your group will receive one large block approximately 50′ x 90′ but may be irregularly shaped due to trees. As long as you stay within the marked boundaries, you may use your discretion on the number of people and cars at your campsite. You can photocopy your Camping Pass for each car that will be parked in your boundaries. If you run out of space, you will need to purchase Campsite Overflow Parking passes for $20. Electricity, water and tables are not provided.
ELECTRIC CAMPSITES – Most electric sites are 20’ x 30’ but there are a few Extra Long sites that are 20’ x 45’. If you purchase 30 or 50 amp sites you are allowed to run air conditioners. Sites may have multiple sleeping units, but you must stay within the marked boundaries. Your vehicle must fit on the site or you will need to purchase a Campsite Overflow Parking pass for $20. Water and tables are not provided and you must bring adequate extension cords
CAMPING RULES
•The Main Gate opens for campers at noon on Wednesday, July 11th. Camping check-out is no later than 10:00 pm on Sunday, July 15th. Registering over 2,500 campsites is a long process. Thank you ahead of time for your patience!
•Campsite boundaries will be marked and enforced. Please plan accordingly.
•Volunteers who camp may check in for camping on Tuesday. However, you need to come during Volunteer Registration hours.
•Campsite Overflow Parking Passes allow you to park a vehicle on grounds if you don’t want to park on your campsite. You can purchase this pass online or at the Ticket Tent for $20. The pass allows you to go to your campsite to unload. Once your vehicle is unloaded, park your vehicle in one of the overflow locations. Please watch for signs and updated maps indicating the appropriate parking areas.
•Parking rules will be strictly enforced at Lifest. Too many campers have parked in other campsites or in areas that need to be clear for emergency vehicles. A towing company will be on grounds and you will need to pay a fine if you are not parked in the appropriate location.
•Notice from the DNR In an effort to stem the spread of Emerald Ash Borers (EAB – an insect that kills ash trees), the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board has approved a rule prohibiting visitors from bringing firewood from anywhere more than 50 miles from Sunnyview Expo Center. Dimensional lumber such as two-by-fours or two-by-tens that have been dried in moisture and temperature-controlled kilns is exempt from the rule.
•A parent or guardian must accompany campers under 18 years of age. Only adults 18 years or older are allowed to purchase campsites.
•Each person staying overnight at a campsite must have a Full Event wristband (except Saturday night since Sunday is free).
•Lifest reserves the right to reassign campsites as needed.
•Once your initial campsite order has been placed, additional adjacent campsites may not be available.
•Please refer to the City of Oshkosh regulations regarding fire pits and grills. The city can issue a fine of $212 if you do not comply. READ REGULATIONS HERE.
•No pets are allowed on the Lifest grounds (except registered service canines).
•All generators must be equipped with a muffler and must be turned off from Midnight to 7:00 am.
•Drinkable water, bathrooms and a limited number of showers are available on-grounds. Water/Sanitary hookups are not available on grounds. However, we have contracted with a septic service to pump RV tanks for an additional fee. More information will be available in the program.
•No immodest clothing, swimsuits, etc.
•Tickets and camping passes are non-refundable.
